Greetings from State University Education Deans:

As Chair of the State University Education Deans (SUED), I’d like to welcome you to our website.

SUED is an association of education deans from Ohio’s thirteen public Colleges of Education. Working in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Higher Education, the Ohio Department of Education, and other educational entities, SUED’s mission is to ensure that the highest quality candidates are prepared for schools, agencies, and other professional settings. To accomplish this mission, we:

1. Inform state and national policy on issues related to education in order to shape policy and the allocation of resources;
2. Translate policy into practice for the improvement of P-16 education;
3. Engage in public dialogue on the improvement of P-16 education both as direct contributors to the preparation of educators and as thought-leaders.

We engage our many colleagues and partners from within our communities, across the state and the nation to deliver exceptional graduates ready to meet the diverse needs of schools, agencies, and other professional settings.
