Mission / Focus Statement: SUED is a voluntary association of state university education deans which seeks to improve educational opportunities for all of the people of Ohio through:

• Translating policy into practice for the improvement of P-16 education
• Informing state and national policy on issues related to education in order to shape policy and the allocation of resources
• Advocacy and engagement in the public dialogue on improvement P-16 education both as direct contributors to the preparation of educators and as thought-leaders
